Petrol tanker crash causes massive fire in Long Island, New York


A tanker truck crash spilled 9,200 gallons (41,800 litres) of petrol in Lengthy Island, New York, on Wednesday, inflicting a large hearth. The hearth division spent over 10 hours placing out the blaze.

Officers had beforehand stated they believed some 13,000 gallons of petrol had been spilled.

The car’s driver and two firefighters had been taken to hospital.
